Air Force Reserve Command IG Team On behalf of all Team Nellis/Creech integrated reservists, welcome! We have been anxiously awaiting your arrival and are excited to highlight our personnel and programs. As you visit the 78th Reconnaissance Squadron and 555th RED HORSE Squadron, you’ll see our members are leading the way in Total Force Integration, working side-by-side the regular Air Force to fight the war on terror and prepare for tomorrow’s challenges. You’ll witness the 78 RS’ active roles and responsibilities in supporting the U.S. Air Force’s first Unmanned Aircraft Systems wing, equipped with more than 100 MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aircraft, to train pilots, sensor operators and other UAS crewmembers, and conduct combat surveillance and attack operations worldwide. The 78 RS is currently 33-strong, and rapidly growing to meet the needs of 24/7 operations and the unquenchable thirst for UAS combat support. The 555 RHS currently has 165 personnel providing air component commanders with a dedicated, rapidly-mobile, self-sufficient, heavy-combat engineer force for airfields, base, and special capabilities construction to support worldwide contingency operations. The squadron is continuously deploying across the globe as part of joint force efforts. Our folks are working alongside the REGAF on a daily basis to get the mission done, and take great pride in setting the example for the Air Force Reserve as Total Force integrators. I trust that during your time here you will experience the professionalism and forward-thinking of every Airman, as we strive for excellence in all we do. Again, welcome to Team Nellis/Creech. I hope that you enjoy your time here as much as we do! Sincerely,
